After the retirement of some Protoss players from Alien Invasion we looked for a person that could fill the gap and we are proud to announce AiKrr as our new Protoss player.

Früher, auch als “Protoss Invasion” bekannt, hatten wir ein starkes Roster mit vielen, vielen Protoss Spielern, dass in letzter Zeit jedoch ausbalanciert wurde, deshalb dachten wir uns, dass es an der Zeit sei, wieder einen Protossspieler zu verpflichten.

Kristijonas “AiKrr” Barisas wird von nun an ein Teil des Teams sein und damit Aiur auch wieder zufrieden stellen. Der 23-Jährige Litaue ist selbst kein unbeschriebenes Blatt in der Starcraft-Szene: Er hat schon zu Broodwar-Zeiten Erfolge gefeiert und war Mitglied in bekannten europäischen Teams wie Fnatic, Blast, Eclypsia oder Absolute Legends. Sein Name ist in Europa durch Erfolge in Online-Cups berüchtigt und wir sehen ihn als starke Ergänzung für unser Line-up.

Wie fühlst du dich als neues Alien?

Ich bin sehr glücklich. Es ist ein großartiges und freundliches Team mit guter Atmosphäre und vielen Möglichkeiten. Ich hoffe das beide Parteien das beste draus machen.

Erzähl uns ein wenig über deine RTS/Starcraft Geschichte.

Ich habe Broodwar sehr lang gespielt und habe dort auch gute Leistungen gezeigt. Ich habe mich für beide Teamliquid Starleagues in BW qualifiziert, bin dort jedoch nicht zu weit gekommen. Aufgrund meines BW Talents wurde ich zu Beginn von Starcraft 2/Ende von BW zu Fnatic eingeladen. Dort zeigte ich auch meine Leistung, musste jedoch ein wenig später für ein Jahr eine Pause einlegen, um mich auf andere Sachen zu konzentrieren. Nach dieser Pause fing ich wieder an zu spielen. Ich nahm an vielen Online Cups teil und habe viel geladdert, um wieder in Topform zu kommen. Dort bin ich jetzt angekommen.

Wann hast du deinen Namen von Kr zu Krr verändert?

Es war nicht meine Entscheidung. Das Battle.net fordert mindestens drei Buchstaben als Namen :D Aber es ist besser so, weil mein eigentlicher Name wie folgt lauten sollte: Krrrrrrrrrrr

I’ve been playing Broodwar for a long time. Was doing pretty well there. Qualified for both Teamliquid Starleagues in BW. Didn’t get too high there unfortunately. Because of my BW skill, I got invited into Fnatic at the end of BW/start of Starcraft 2. I was doing pretty good at the start, but than I had to take brake from SC to focus on other things for about a year. After that it started once again. Participating in a lot of online Starcraft 2 tournaments, laddering a lot and getting into good shape again. And now im here.

When did you decide to switch from Kr to Krr?

It wasn’t my decision. I had to make it because Battle.net won’t allow two letter names :D But it's for the good, because originaly my name should be pronounced like this: Krrrrrrrrrrr
